The price for the league software is $40.00
per club. This is a
one-time charge enabling that club to run the software for their leagues so long
as they choose. The club will receive the program, an empty database
file, a help file, and the royalty-free run-time license for Microsoft Access
2000 (provides database support).
There is also a optional subscription service associated with the league
software. For $8.00 per month per league (charged only if the league
has at least one session that month) you may subscribe to any or all of the
following services (the $8.00 covers all of these services, you decide if your
club wants all or just some).
- Database Backup. You send a
file over the internet via e-mail or FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to safe
storage. Should your PC fail or your database is deleted or
corrupted for any reason you can request the most recent database and it will
be sent to you immediately.
- League Statistics Web Site. When
you send in your database file following each league session a web site
(hosted on our servers) is automatically updated with your latest results.
This update usually occurs within 10 minutes of receipt of your database.
This web site can be transparently linked to you main club web site.
We will coordinate the menu page design to match your web's theme. See
AGTTA League Results or
Alameda Table Tennis Club for example of league results menus.
- Player Session Results e-mail Distribution.
When you send in your database file following each league
session a customized e-mail is generated for each player with a registered
e-mail address (in your database) who participated in the latest league
session. This custom report is immediately sent out to the players
providing them with their match results for the session, the rating
adjustments for each match, the scores in each match, the winner of their
group, and their rating before and after the session. This report
is also a valuable management tool because players often catch data entry
errors quickly allowing them to be corrected before the next session.
- USATT Rating Synchronization.
For US subscribers only. The
software uses the USATT rating chart to adjust ratings based on league match
outcomes. To help keep your club ratings aligned with player's
USATT ratings this service synchronizes USATT and club player ratings.
The synchronization occurs at the beginning of each league. Any
club player who has also played in a USATT tournament since the start of the
latest league and whose USATT rating is higher will have their club rating
adjusted up to the player's USATT rating. Player's whose club
rating is higher than their USATT rating will not be adjusted.
Players who have not participated in a USATT tournament since the start of the
last league will not be adjusted. Adjustments are subject to
availability of USATT ratings at the time of adjustment (typically a two week
delay).
