			                Player Description:
                            John Mar, a counter looping phenomenon, has been fortunate enough to grow up having one of the best coaches in the U.S. train him.  This prominent coach whose name is ubiquitous in the Table Tennis arena will ring a bell to most of you.  As a USATT certified National Level Coach, Richard McAfee, is a Butterfly Sponsored Coach that was selected by the ITTF to conduct Table Tennis training courses.
  
During John's training, he developed the most contemporary Penhold grip that is also used by the top ranked ITTF champion, Wang Hao.
This contemporary grip is called the Reverse Backhand Penhold grip.

Fluid and picture perfect strokes leave no question as to why he was one the best juniors in the U.S. and currently one of the top players in the South East.
With the flip of a wrist, he can send the ball flying at 100 mph. 

Just for fun, he'll sit there and counter loop or just simply take it easy and block your best shots.

But the talent just doesn't stop at John Mar..  Tom Mar, his daddy, is tough too.  So if you want to challenge John, you'll have to get through Tom first.
